Description

The AS2008-P is an uncomplicated and budget-friendly Fast Ethernet Power over Ethernet (PoE) desktop switch, specifically designed to cater to small workgroups where devices like IP Phones need power supplied through the switch via UTP data cables.

This desktop switch offers 8 ports, all of which support 10/100Mbps speeds and PoE, in full compliance with the IEEE 802.3at and af Power over Ethernet standards. These ports are equipped with auto-sensing and auto MDI/X capabilities, simplifying connectivity to your existing network infrastructure and PoE Powered Devices (PDs) like IP Phones, Wireless Access Points, and IP Video Cameras. Each port can provide up to 18.75 watts of power, while the switch as a whole can handle a total power load of up to 150 watts. The switch itself is powered by an internal power supply.

In essence, the AS2008-P is the perfect solution for cost-effectively introducing PoE functionality to support PoE-powered devices within smaller network setups.
